Princess Maker: Children of Revelation Development Team Laid Off During Early Access

First reported by Korean outlet ThisIsGame, the development team behind Princess Maker: Children of Revelation has been laid off while the game is currently in early access. The outlet confirmed that the development of the game is being transferred to another studio, but has no mention of which studio.

D-ZARD, the developers of both the aforementioned Princess Maker game and Asurajang, have published a press release about the situation and said that Princess Maker was their entry into the games industry and that, as of August 2025, all of its employees have resigned.

ThisIsGame mentioned that they have come in contact with an anonymous former employee of D-ZARD, and said that the future of Asurajang is unsure. However, the process of transferring the development and license over to another company, regarding Princess Maker: Children of Revelation, has made considerable progress.

Tumblbug, a crowdfunding platform popular in Korea, was also mentioned in the press release from D-ZARD. The developers mentioned that Tumblbug-related work is also going to be transferred to another company and that, because of this, there’s going to be some delays for some of the goods that are supposed to be out.

Despite all of this, D-ZARD is seemingly not shutting down. The press release did not mention anything about studio sunsetting. However, they also did not mention their plans for the future.
