Titan Quest II Receives Chapter 2 With New Boss
Titan Quest II received the Chapter 2 update on Sept. 19, 2025, as was promised by the game’s developer in the title’s early access roadmap, which was revealed on Aug. 8, 2025.
In the second chapter, players can venture forth into the Northern Beaches to unravel the secrets of Nemesis’s dark plans through Fated Quests, fighting new types of Ichthians.
In the World Quests, players will be able to aid a crew of shipwrecked travelers scattered across the beaches, incidentally discovering ancient treasure while encountering monsters from Greek mythology.
Chapter 2 also brings a new boss, Skylla, the scourge of sailors, the feared sea monster that devoured six of Odysseus’ crew and menaced the Strait of Messina throughout the age of heroes.
Launched in early access on Aug. 1, 2025, for Windows PC only, Titan Quest II is an isometric RPG where players take control of a character who must battle the Goddess Nemesis, who is corrupting the threads of fate in an effort to eliminate anyone who opposes her.
Developed by Grimlore Games and published by THQ Nordic, the sequel to 2006’s Titan Quest is slated for full release at the end of 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
As of the time of writing, Titan Quest II has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 11,163 reviews, a 4.5-star rating out of five on the Epic Games Store and an all-time peak of 27,099 players, according to SteamDB.
