Developed by NeoBards Entertainment and published by Konami, the game is a new standalone spin-off story, not a traditional mainline entry, in the Silent Hill franchise.
Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill ƒ follows the story of Shimizu Hinako as her hometown, Ebisugaoka, gets consumed by a sudden fog, transforming it into a haunting nightmare.
As of the time of writing, the title has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 2,778 reviews and a Metascore of 86 points based on 77 critic reviews.
The recommended PC system requirements, according to the game’s Steam page, include Windows 11 (64-bit) as the operating system, an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, along with 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU. On top of that, the game uses DirectX 12 and requires at least 50 GB of available storage space.
