Code Vein II officially releases on Jan. 30, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series X|S. The Code Vein II release date trailer was revealed during Sony’s State of Play Presentation on Sept. 24, 2025.

The anime soulslike takes place in two separate timelines: the present and the past, 100 years ago. During the game, a Revenant named Lou MagMell revives the player character and accompanies them on their journey.

The game features dungeon exploration; cooperative play has not yet been officially confirmed by Bandai Namco. It is worth noting that the game’s predecessor featured up to two players. For Code Vein II, the game is marketed with a partner-based combat system with emphasis on chosen partners.
