Amazon Luna to Relaunch with Free Games for Prime Subscribers
Amazon is relaunching its Luna cloud gaming service later in 2025; no exact date has been revealed. The relaunch is an overhaul of the service, providing a complete redesign and new features, including a rotating library of cloud games for Amazon Prime subscribers. Amazon published a blog detailing the marketing vision of the relaunch.
Within the blog, Amazon stated that it is trying to simplify gaming, with the Prime benefits included as part of the marketing appeal. Over 50 games will reportedly be included within the rotating catalogue for Prime subscribers at no additional cost. According to the official blog post, the following titles will be available at some point:
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
- TopSpin 2K25
- Dave the Diver
- MotoGP 25
- Farming Simulator 22
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
Luna Premium subscribers can access even more titles; a comprehensive list of the game catalogue was not revealed.
In addition, Amazon Luna is adding a GameNight feature, which is a collection of social party games that do not require a controller. Instead, players can use their phones as a controller. The feature will launch with over 25 multiplayer games and exclusive Amazon-developed titles.
