Latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Showcase Highlights Multiplayer and Zombies
The recently livestreamed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 showcase focused more on the game’s multiplayer and zombies aspects. Warzone was touched upon as well, with the developers giving fans a peek at the new Resurgence map.
As Gaming.News previously reported, the game’s open beta will start on Oct. 5, 2025. But early access players will already be able to play the game on Oct. 2, 2025. Players keen to play in those tests should know that they will have access to six 6v6 maps: Blackhead, The Forge, Toshin’s downtown Tokyo, Exposure, Imprint and Cortex’s human testing site.
Weapons have also been touched upon, with the game featuring 16 new multiplayer weapons. This includes a new pump-action shotgun called the M10 Breacher. A thermal sniper streak is already breaking lobbies with Chris “Simp” Lehr showing how broken it is.
Overload mode was also touched upon, which is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s competitive mode. The developers even recommended some tacticals players might want to bring when they play this mode.
Aside from that, the Zombies mode was also talked about, which introduced the Ashes of the Damned map, apparently inspired by the legend of the Bermuda Triangle.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is expected to come out on Nov. 14, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
