Parasite Mutant Announced for PC and PlayStation 5
IceSitruuna announced its upcoming 2026 title: Parasite Eve. The game releases on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam at a currently undisclosed date and price. The announcement for the science fiction horror PG was made on Sept. 28, 2025, accompanied by a brief trailer.
Set in a distant future, players control Agent Nova, who is sent on a mission to an abandoned and secluded island filled with monsters. Parasite Eve has a Level Up System tied in with its classic equipment progression system. Players attach modules onto their equipment, or they can enhance their equipment using plus Points that can be obtained through combat.
The anime-style game features New Game+ mode at launch, which allows players to inherit Plus points from the previous playthrough. The New Game+ also unlocks new locations where players can continue strengthening themselves and complete the final challenge. The title is available to wishlist on the PlayStation store. The Steam posting for the title indicates a single-player experience.
