Diablo 4 Druids Break the Game With Quintillion-Damage Bug

A new bug has turned Diablo 4’s Druid class into a game-breaking powerhouse, with players reporting damage numbers in the quintillions — so high that the game begins displaying negative values with 18 zeros.

The exploit stems from a combination of poison- and summon-based abilities layered with seasonal mechanic bonuses. When stacked correctly, Druids can unleash a barrage of attacks inflicting absurdly high damage, capable of one-shotting everything the game has to offer, including all of the final bosses of Pit 150, which have the largest health pool.

The impact has been dramatic on leaderboards: Druids have surged roughly 30 ranks ahead of other classes in unofficial Pit clear charts. While most classes struggle around Tier 120, Druids are clearing Tier 150 in under two minutes.

On top of that, the build is shockingly easy to assemble. One of our editors managed to recreate it (there are multiple variants, but only a particular set of skills and aspects matters) in 10 minutes using leftover gear from the stash — no glyphs, no upgrades, — and still cleared a Tier 150 Pit in just over two minutes.

Blizzard has yet to comment on the bug, but a fix is expected. Similar exploits previously broke Spiritborn and Sorcerer builds, which were patched within a couple of days.
